Sequoia Park ZooThe Sequoia Park Zoo in Eureka is California's oldest zoo and also one of the smallest in the country. Surrounded by majestic redwood forests on a serene 5-acre park, the Sequoia Park Zoo is home to a variety of smaller animals, such as red pandas, tropical birds, spider monkeys, cotton-topped tamarins, and an American black bear. Visitors can enjoy fun attractions at the zoo, like a walk-through aviary and petting zoo, eat at the café or shop for souvenirs at the gift shop.
Hours -Tuesday-Sunday, 10am-5pm; Summer hours daily, 10am-5pm (Memorial Day-Labor Day)
Prices -$6 adults, $4 children (age 3-12), $5 seniors and active military.
